IT Auditor - Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Classification: Consulting Compensation: Pay up to $60.00 per hour We are currently looking for a Sarbanes Oxley compliance tester for a position in northwest Columbus. Pay will be based on level of experience.Responsibilities:
The main function of this position will be to test the IT General controls. Document the test methods and findings, note deficiencies and create action items for the deficiencies, and recommend process or control changes to enhance effectiveness. Each tester will be responsible for working within the team and managing the tests assigned to them within the assigned time-frame.
Daily Responsibilities:

Reviewing, performing, and re-performing tests of effectiveness for specific controls

Proactively communicating any problems with meeting the testing timeframes and budget of time

Documenting test sample methods, and results of testing to meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements

Ensuring requests of detail for testing is received in a timely manner and working effectively with the control operators

Documenting control deficiencies and actions to remediate these deficiencies

Documenting areas where controls can be improved for effectiveness and efficiency

Providing tactical and strategic process improvement recommendations to the test management team based on test experience
