Insurance/ComplianceBeazley USA, based in Farmington CT, is expanding its Regulatory and Compliance Group and is seeking a Compliance Analyst and a Paralegal. These positions focus on regulatory compliance and state filing functions for a property and casualty insurer, with a focus on commercial professional liability, property and general liability lines of insurance.Compliance AnalystCompliance Analyst responsibilities include: prepare and secure approval of product filings, perform internal functions related to product filings, respond to insurance department requests and perform miscellaneous regulatory functions.Qualifications:3+ years experience in the property/casualty insurance industry, preferably in a regulatory compliance or state filings position, Microsoft Office, NILS INSource and SERFF is plus.ParalegalRegulatory Paralegal responsibilities are diverse and include: research regulatory requirements impacting professional liability insurance policy provisions country-wide; perform analysis and drafting functions needed for product approvals; interact with insurance regulators; assist in developing compliance resource materials.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a major in paralegal studies and/or supplemented with a paralegal certificate, MS Office, excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, experience working for a commercial lines property and casualty insurer is a plus.Beazley USA offers a highly competitive compensation benefits package.
