The Chicago Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking a Tax Director in their Investment Management Practice for hedge fund, private equity companies and various investment partnership clients. This individual will provide tax compliance and consulting services for clients within the Investment Management industry. This is a rapidly growing practice and the resources are needed to meet client demands. Successful candidates will be able to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BS/B.A. in Accounting or related field. MS in Tax preferred. CPA required.Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical tax background as a result of 10+ years investment management experience. Experience in tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm or industry leader is preferable. Candidate must be highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for his/her own personal growth and development. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities and aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. In addition, the candidate must have the ability and willingness to coach and develop staff.
