Candidates for the Human Resources position will process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 265 employees. Since the Human Resources Director will also be responsible for Payroll, they must be able to multi-task. In addition to HR tasks, this position is responsible for preparing the ADP payroll. Human Resources Responsibilities include:
HR Director responsible for recruitment for all levels of the organization.
Human reources also responsible for Benefits administration, including 401K - enrollments, changes, cancellations, claims issues, billing issues, etc.
Administration of employee reviews to ensure promptness
Administration of the Workers Compensation program
Maintain HR, Employee and Training files
Ability to conduct and research employee complaints and discrimination issues
Cobra administration
Review policies and procedures and draft revisions when needed
Research HR issues and advise management
Payroll responsibilities for of the position include:
Change/update time records as needed
Maintain the employee master file in ADP
Submission of the payroll to ADP on a semi-monthly basis
Preparation of remittances of 401K and health insurance
REQUIREMENTS
Human Resources Director / Payroll Manager Requirements:
4-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Payroll
College degree or HR Certificate a BIG PLUS
Ability to work independently and identifiy opportunities for improvement and enhancement
Experience working with ADP payroll systems
Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Maintain a high level of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Workers Compensation experience
Proficiency MS-Word and Excel is required
