Advanced Quantitative Services Manager/Senior Manager
The Advanced Quantitative Manager/Senior Manager will provide industry insight and technical and analytical support in a consulting environment.
The job functions include the following:
- Provide overall project management and client relationship support
- Actively participate in defining project scope and objectives
- Provide technical design assistance for predictive model development
- Present and communicate project deliverables/results to clients
- Provide support and assistance for the implementation of predictive models
- Participate in sales presentations to potential clients
- The minimum job
prerequisites are as follows:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in statistics, actuarial science or related field of study
- 5+ years of data mining and predictive modeling experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Strong competency for statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS, MATLAB)
- Solid statistical understanding
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Ability for significant travel during peak periods (10% - 70%)
- Strong work ethic and desire to help clients improve their businesses
- Strong desire for success
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including overtime
Additional desired job prerequisites include the following:
- Advanced degree in statistics, actuarial science, artificial intelligence, or data mining
- Actuarial designation or actuarial background

5+ years of business analytics experience in one or more of the following industries: Insurance, Consumer Products and Packaged Goods, and Human Resources
