Hands on NFP Controller / Sr. Acct w/ Grants exp- $75K (RJH)

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $65000.00 to $80000.00 per year Are you a Non-Profit Accountant looking for an opportunity to take your general ledger accounting skills to the next level in a leadership role? My client, a small Grants and Membership funded Non-Profit organization dedicated to improving the efficacy of Non-Profit Executive Boards throughout the US, is currently seeking a hands on Non-Profit Controller to join its NW Washington, DC office team.
Key Responsibilities include:
General Ledger Accounting

Financial Statement Preparation

Overseeing Month End Close and performing related monthly financial reporting

Federal, State, and Private Grants accounting

Overseeing staff of two junior accountants

Acting as main point of contact for all organizational banking relationshipsQualified candidates will have:
Bachelors Degree

5+ years hands on full cycle Non-Profit general ledgers accounting experience, at least 1 year of Grants Accounting experience is preferred

1+ years of supervisory experience

Hands-On work ethic

Great Plains experience a + but not required
