HR ASSISTANT

Well established Mexican Food Product Manufacturer has an excellent career opportunity for a professional, organized and detail oriented Human Resource Clerk.Responsibilities:Recruiting by use of resources qualified applicants for open positions
Process high volume employment applications
Review/Screen Applications
Conduct pre-screening processContact former employers and references
Contact Department Manager who submitted requisition to set upinterview with qualified candidates
Act as liaison between Dept. Manager and potential new hire
Arrange interview between Dept. Manager and interview candidate
Set up new hires in computer system
Update and maintain company headcount
Conduct exit interviews
Maintain personnel files and employment logs
Daily contact with staffing agencies
Issue and keep inventory of company issued equipment
Trip Reduction Coordinator
Assist in benefit administration process
Driver qualification process
REQUIREMENTS
Skills /Requirements:
Bi-lingual - fluent Spanish required!
1-3 years administrative HR clerical experience or education in HR with focus on recruiting and retention.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, facilitative and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of staff and management
Strong organizational skills and must be detail oriented
