The position offers a competitive salary and great benefits.This position is responsible for directing the financial and operational activities of a large multi-specialty hospital. Controller will also be responsible for relationships with third-party payors, oversight of P&L statements and balance sheets, as well as team building and leadership. Purpose
To direct and lead the daily operations of the
Accounting Office for patient billing, collections, refunds, transaction entry, customer service, claims and account follow-up. The Controller also advises, coaches and mentors the accounting leadership team in the areas of management, financial and administrative functions.Opportunity

Medicaid reimbursement procedures; printed and oral communications in a healthcare setting; administrative management of a business office settingSkillsRequired for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to operate a personal computer and its associated applications, maintain data and produce reports; demonstrate proven organization, process, and strategic planning skills; effectively communicate with physicians and others outside the department; and effectively communicate with and manage department staff.Education
CPA
Bachelor's degree in business or related field.Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician billing
