We have an immediate opportunity for an Account Executive in our Group Benefits area. Candidate will be required to spend most of their time in Connecticut and Westchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Servicing new and existing large group benefit accounts and developing solid relationships with the client representatives.
Following up on soft leads, as well as developing relationships with the external referral sources.
Providing daily servicing/maintenance of existing book of business by evaluating coverage renewals and making appropriate recommendations
Evaluating coverage renewals and making appropriate recommendations
Penetrating existing accounts by adding new lines of coverage whenever possible
Preparation of enrollment communications and conducting employee enrollment meetings.
Creating and customizing communications and reports to meet specific client needs
Managing the carrier presentation process which includes interacting with carriers to obtain and modify proposals, reviewing carrier proposals, arranging finalist presentations with client and facilitating sales presentation meetings with prospects.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience/training, and five or more years of work experience as a mid to large group service representative.
Familiar with self funded plans and community rated and experience rated group medical business and ancillary lines: life/AD&D, STD, LTD, dental & vision. 401(k) beneficial but not required.
Human Resources or Accounting background a plus.
Life & Health License is required.
