Great Staff Accountant's in the Dallas Area Needed!!!!

STAFF ACCOUNTANT W/ 3-5 YRS ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE WANTED IN DALLAS****
A great Dallas company, which is a leading homebuilder specializing in the development and marketing of high-density residential communities is looking for Staff Accountants to join their growing staff. The Company also owns and operates an investment portfolio of approximately 15,000 apartments and 1.5 million square feet of commercial space, valued at over $1 billion, with concentrations in Florida, Connecticut and Texas. This company's core business is to create value for stockholders by developing, renovating, operating and selling real estate.

They are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for their Dallas, Texas office. These positions are responsible for reviewing General Ledger activity for for-sale housing developments, and other homebuilding projects; recording ownership level activities; and creating monthly and quarterly financial reports and supporting work papers for financial statements, 10-Qs, and 10-Ks.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Review General Ledger activity for monthly close
Correspond with property management companies for information necessary to update and maintain accurate general ledger balances
Record entries for depreciation schedules
Reconcile intercompany accounts
Prepare journal entries to record equity in earnings of partnerships and joint ventures accounted for using the equity method.
Prepare monthly joint venture and homebuilding reports
Prepare reports and work papers for support of quarterly and annual reports.
Special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
-Must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
-3-5 years of solid Accounting experience
-3-5 years experience with accounting analysis, variance, balance sheet reconciliation, & financial reporting preferred
-Computer proficiency including Excel, Word; Platinum, and FRX experience desired
