We are seeking individuals with a strong accounting/finance background in either food manufacturing or commodities that will be able to bring value added business experience to Cargill.



As a member of our talented audit team you will receive extensive training and be involved in planning and executing audit projects globally, based upon risk, as part of a culturally diverse team. Activities may include assessing business risks, supervising aspects of assigned audit projects, executing audit scope activities, and assessing whether internal controls are adequate in accordance with risk/materiality factors.



Principle Accountabilities:

Assess risk and plan and execute audit projects as assigned. Activities include risk assessment, project planning/management, process analysis, documentation, testing and reporting as well as workshop facilitation.

Knowledge transfer and mentoring within Corporate Audit

Work on Corporate and/or Audit strategic initiatives



Previous audit experience is not required!
REQUIREMENTS






Basic Requirements



* 4-year or postgraduate degree in accounting/finance

* Minimum of 7 years relevant business experience in food or commodity based industry.

* Ability to travel globally up to 40%.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).

* Strong computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Notes, etc.)



Desired

* 3 plus years experience with a public accounting firm, or large internal audit department, preferably in food and/or commodity based businesses.

* Language skills in addition to English (Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Eastern European languages).
