DESCRIPTION:Perform general ledger functions (month-end close and account reconciliation)for assigned divisions / plants for CCE’s North American operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares account analyses, journal entries and financial reports including monthly operating reports and quarterly and year-end Corporate reporting packages.

Continually reviews, challenges, and changes accounting processes to develop “best in class” accounting organization.

Ensures compliance with GAAP, Standard Accounting Manual, and other Company policies and procedures

We are the largest producer and distributor of Coca-Cola products worldwide.
The ideal candidates will posses:
At least one year of large company accounting experience, which includes account reconciliations, journal entries & month-end close. While “finance”roles are sometimes considered, accounting shop experience is more attractive to our company in this role.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or 4 to 5 yeas of relevant accounting experience. Requirements will vary depending upon the specific area.

Sales & Use Tax

Property Tax

QUALIFICATIONS: Foundation Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1 year minimum equivalent work experience OR High school diploma and 4+ years equivalent (staff accountant level) work experience

CCE experience a plus; CPA a plus

Work experience should have included accounting, financial statement preparations, internal audit/controls, and account analysis and reconciliation; beverage industry experience preferred

Excellent analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Access is preferred.

Flexibility to adjust work load and hours when necessary
