job description Major Responsibilities: THIS POSITION CAN BE FILLED 1 LEVEL DOWN BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS.The GB AE II Base Mgt & Acq is responsible for direct field-based solution sales and account management for the Sprint Nextel portfolio. Focus is on retention of the current spend for an assigned base of customers and growing the Sprint Nextel share of wallet available business of an account module weighted with existing Sprint Nextel customers in a geographic territory. Normal addressable wallet opportunity of an account at this level would range from $50,000 - $100,000+ annually. Fully experienced professional working on problems of complex scope. Directs the work of developing professionals, or specialty, skilled or entry-level non-exempt staff. Generates sales of company systems and services in named accounts, specific industry or assigned geographic territory. Contacts/visits existing and prospective customers. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Observes and participates in presenting products and services that can fill customer needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services.
