Fund Controller

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 per year FUND CONTROLLER Company: The corporate headquarters is located in New York City, with additional offices in major metropolitan areas nationwide. We are anticipate becoming a leading provider of both domestic and international stock indexes that the Company will use to create Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's), and other Institutional products. We are launching a new group of ETFs to compete with Barclays iShares, State Street and Vanguard.
Description:
We are currently seeking a professional and experienced individual for the Fund Controller position within our organization. This role reports directly to the CFO and will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations as well as the monthly reporting requirements, coordinating and managing external audits , compliance reviews, and assist in maintaining internal compliance programs.Requirements:
Eligible candidates must:
•Have prior experience in the mutual fund/ETF area.
•Be familiar with all types of quarterly and annual filings for the mutual fund industry (N-SAR's , NQ's etc)•Be familiar with compliance issues for investment companies and advisors.• interface with the operations department for daily calculations and reconciliations.PLEASE NOTE: If you do not meet the above requirements, please do not apply.
