Fund Accounting Specialist

Job Description: The Sacramento office of Kelly Financial Resources is currently recruiting for a qualified Fund Accounting Analyst at one of our top clients.

Qualified applicants will possess the following background:

~ BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics
~ At least 2+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting skills
~ If you have financial services or securities industry experience, that is preferred, but not required
~ Strong ERP systems experience (including the GL) is a must
~ Knowledge of GAAP
~ Any exposure to or knowledge of the fund industry regulatory requirements is preferred

The duties of the job will include:

~ GL posting
~ Account reconciliations
~ Analysis & review of security transactions
~ Month & fiscal year end close
~ Ad hoc analysis & management reports
~ Prepare & analyze financial statements
~ Develop & manage budgeting process for assigned funds
~ Assist with internal and external audits
