Reconciling daily, weekly, and monthly closingsGeneral ledger entriesMay be assigned accountants and be responsible for trainingGetting involved with IT and accounting projectsPreparing information for investors on a monthly basis
REQUIREMENTS
2-6 years of financial accounting within a financial services firm or a public accounting firmBA/BS degreeCPA preferred but not necessarySolid understanding of daily accounting functions and industry guidelinesAbility to work well in a deadline sensitive environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsAn ‘over achiever’ mentalityWilling to work overtime as neededExtreme attention to detail
