Fund Accountant

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 per year Responsibilites: 1. Development of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls for new fund accounting department2. Accounting and review responsibilities, including general ledger function, preparation of GAAP financial statements, variance analysis and resolution of daily accounting issues3. Quarterly and year-end investor reporting4. Cash management, including preparation of wire transfers and facilitating deal closings
5. Perform waterfall calculation and other performance measurement analysis6. Perform investor capital call and distribution calculations7. G/L setup and implementation8. Budget review and analysis9. Tax responsibilities, including assistance with preparation of tax packages for tax allocations for tax returns10.
