Functional Analyst

Future Technology Associates is a single-source solution for business problems that require both highly advanced technical skills and unique, inside, in-depth industry knowledge. FTA provides a variety of key knowledge-based services to clients around the world.
More specifically, we are seeking an entry-level position for our New York practice. This position will work with senior level consultants on public-service client engagements, implementing and supporting our proprietary family of accounting products. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, writing functional specifications for mainframe and web-based applications, working closely with programmers to assist code development, testing pre-production programs and technical support for the client.We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits including health, 401K with employer match, transit benefit, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates should have excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills, the ability to work within a team or independently, and pilot initiatives set forth by the supervisor. BA or BS required—accounting and/or Information Systems backgrounds desired.
