Full Charge Bookkeeper (Para Professional)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of difficult and complex non-supervisory accounting assignments for multiple clients including accounting activities occurring within the periodic and annual accounting cycle. This includes the annual set-up and maintenance of accounting books, the classification of transactions, trial balance, closing, and end of period adjustments.
REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Preparation of bank reconciliations
•Maintenance of fixed asset depreciation schedules
•Maintenance of prepaid and accrual schedules
•Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
•Write-up work and tax preparation with the assistance of tax accountants
•Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
•Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
•Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
•Preparation of sales and property tax returns.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum 5 years CPA firm bookkeeping experience with multiple clients
•Excellent verbal communication skills
•Proficient in various software programs including: Creative Solutions Accounting; Peachtree; MAS 90; Quickbooks; and/or Quicken, Word, Excel and Outlook
•Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
