Forecast Analyst at our Owatonna, Minnesota location. If you are a

and the desire for aggressive personal growth.GENERAL SUMMARYEstablishes item forecasts that support revenue and inventory
goals/objectives. Utilize forecasting software to enter and maintain
forecast data for new products and promotions. Generate system forecasts in
support of daily business sales for OEM customers. This position serves as
the interface between Marketing, Sales and Production and is responsible
for coordinating and reconciling forecasts originating from OEM Sales.

Successful candidates will possess the following:PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)1. Ensures integrity of item forecast that supports divisional goals and
objectives.2. Leads monthly S&OP meeting for assigned product line; reconciles
customer backlog and forecast with revenue outlook ensuring overall
accuracy.3. Reviews and makes changes, as necessary, to forecasting procedures in
order to maintain an accurate relationship with changing markets and
division strategy.4. Responsible for audit and review of OEM products to adjust for
market/industry trends and variability.5. Reviews and updates new product trends and promotional items in support
of OEM Marketing/Sales.6. Reviews and determines excess inventory root cause and provides Sales
with the information necessary to determine inventory disposition.7. Reviews new or promotional products to ensure after-program sales
quantities are adequate and inventory levels are minimized.8. Enlists Sales support for review of existing and new products to
determine item forecasts.9. Maintains necessary systems expertise and recommends new processes and
procedures in order to enhance the performance of the forecast system.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEKNOWLEDGE and CERTIFICATION:
Required:
? BS Business Administration or equivalent experience.
? Extensive systems knowledge and a thorough knowledge of MPS/MRP systems
? Extensive product knowledge (5+ years product experience)Preferred:
? Demand Solutions Forecasting Software
? Baan
? Statistical Forecasting background
