Fixed Income Associate Portfolio Manager

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, incorporating and executing fixed income investment strategies for Global Bond portfolios. The individual will be part of a global team responsible for the overall performance of our absolute return-oriented global portfolios. Candidate should have five years of fixed income experience. Candidate should have the ability to learn fast and be willing to adjust priorities according to changing needs. A degree and/or experience in Economics or Finance is preferred.The successful candidates will possess strong investment and communication skills, and will partner closely with other members of the Global Bond team and sector strategists in High Yield, Emerging Markets, CDOs, etc. He/she will respond to the investment needs of numerous global portfolios and strategies. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:We seek an experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individual with good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate’s background should include:Experience in fixed income portfolio management and risk management;
Uncompromising attention to detail and compliance;
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a disciplined and results oriented manner;
A collegial temperament suitable for an environment requiring substantial input from a variety of sources to ensure effective execution of the process;
An understanding of ultimate business goals; and
Achievement of or progress towards an advanced degree and/or CFA designation preferred.
