Financial Systems Analyst to $48K with BONUS!
One of our larger clients in Charlotte is in need of a FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST to join their company. This newly created role will not only challenge one’s analytical and financial skills but also, expand upon one’s technical system skills. This organization offers a competitive salary/bonus plan, and good work/life balance!
Responsibilities:
· Independently perform in-depth research that includes reviewing legal documents, developing/running data queries, and using analytics and reasonability checks to identify and quantify issues
· Create reporting and tracking of validation results. Escalate items that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
· Define/refine data quality standards, requirements, and validations
· Apply new measures to incoming production data for specified blocks of business
· Identify recurring data issues and communicate the issues out to the organization and manage remediation efforts with internal and/or external clients
· Establish a data improvement feedback loop back to the front end of the data loading process
· Maintain an information database that contains details on client data reporting (e.g., remediation issues, processing statistics, etc.).
· Support internal and external customers with Data Mining/Data Access needs (e.g., queries/data extracts, information on data availability and database design, information on data validation results)
· Maintain client data scorecards that document concerns regarding the quality and usability of incoming client data
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
· 3+ Years of experience with a B.S. in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or Information Systems
· Demonstrated strong analytical and systems skills (MS Excel and MS Access)
· Strong technical aptitude including database structure/design and querying data/data mining
· Knowledge of accounting principles, updating ledger accounts, reconciliations & accounts payable and receivable processes
