DuPont has an immediate opening for a Financial Systems Accountant. This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware at the Barley Mill Plaza.

Global Business Reporting has responsibilities for collecting and reporting of DuPont global financial data. The Accounting/Financial Systems Accountant position is an integral part of this team that has responsibility for the processes and systems in support of the financial closing.

The primary duties include:
Account for the overall system security control maintenance and reviewsSupport and coordinate the Profit Objective process in the financial collection and reporting system.Conduct DuPont University training for worldwide users on the global financial system query and reporting capabilities.Assist worldwide users on question, concerns, and issues.Participate in the quality assurance verifications of new or modified process changes.Perform yearly Disaster Recovery testing


REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, with 2 to 3 years experience in a Finance competency and exposure to Financial Statement Reporting and Auditing. Applicant must also be able to analyze and resolve technical issues working closely with IT Support. The applicant must be proficient in the following skills: written and oral communications, organizational and time management, personal computing (especially in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word).
