Our Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) practice is a global leader in helping clients manage risk from the boardroom to the network. As the largest risk management consulting practice of its kind, we offer a comprehensive array of services designed to help our clients understand business risks, determine acceptable levels of exposure, implement internal controls, and provide ongoing measurement and monitoring of the risk environment and compliance.
We are currently seeking all levels of candidates with financial accounting and
reporting experience in our throughout US offices to deliver and sell value added insurance advisory services.
We seek individuals with a strong background in insurance industry accounting, auditing internal controls and financial reporting who would like to use those skills to assist clients with consultative services. Experience in a multiple sectors of the insurance industry is preferred (e.g., life, property & casualty, reinsurance) Candidates who also have experience with technology and process reengineering efforts, including configuring and implementing financial reporting and general ledger systems are desirable. Candidates should posses the following attributes:

Service areas include:
- Financial close and reporting process assessments focusing on improving timeliness, controls,
information, consistency and reducing costs
- Internal control assessments
- Assessments and process improvements relating to general ledger reconciliations to administrative systems
- Financial organization redesign
- Financial process and internal control due diligence and integration assistance to support mergers and acquisitions
- Development of policy and procedure documentation
- Assisting with requirements definition and process changes relating to financial system implantations Qualifications:
- BA/BS, Accounting/Finance Majors desired
- CPA preferred
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Consulting Experience
- Previous experience within an Auditing Insurance practice (preferably within the Big 4 is highly preferred)
- Insurance Industry Experience
- Financial reporting or internal control position at a top-tier insurance institution with the following:
- Previous role within an
Accounting/Financial Reporting Department
- Previous role with Internal Audit
