Financial Sales Specialist - Region 2

In this role, you will support the Bankā??s mission by assisting our customers with achieving their financial goals. Job Summary:
> Proactively promotes the sales of all types of bank services and products by profiling customers to assess their financial needs and strategies
> Develops sales sources outside of day to day branch traffic
> Performs processes necessary to satisfy customer needs pertaining to checking, savings and certificate accounts and mortgage loan applications
> Accepts consumer loan applications and pays out loans
> Series 6 and Maryland Life Insurance licensed to make investment and insurance presentation and close sales Job Requirements
Education(ED), Experience(EX), and Knowledge/Abilities (K/A), required for competent performance in the job:ED High school diploma or equivalent work experience. College degree preferred.
ED Maryland or Virginia Life Insurance license required. NASD Series 6 license required. Series 63 license preferred.
EX Minimum 3-5 years direct sales experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
K/A Thorough knowledge of bank services and products.
K/A Proven ability to sell all bank services and products, including investment and insurance products.
K/A Effective problem solving and decision making abilities.
K/A Strong oral and written communication skills.
K/A Highly motivated and sales driven.
K/A Strong customer service skills.
K/A Ability to work well with internal and external customers.
