Financial Reporting Analyst (External)

Our client, headquartered in Atlanta, is the largest provider of this product in their industry and are looking to add a strong Financial Reporting Analyst to their staff. This person will support the accounting and financial reporting requirements of the company. They are looking for a strong analyst with excellent skills including SEC reporting, 10K and 10Q. This position will offer a strong compensation package, with excellent benefits, and a defined career path.

Job Description:
Review and maintain all supporting documentation to ensure financials are complete and accurate.
SEC Reporting, 10K, 10Q.
Perform monthly consolidation of several entities, including elimination entries.Prepare and present internal and external monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting packages.Review existing and potential accounting policies for consistency and compliance with GAAP.Identify, evaluate and implement ideas to enhance monthly processes and systems to support accuracy and increased efficiency of the financial reporting process.Develop and post assigned journal entries, in addition to those resulting from monthly variance review.Assist Accounting Department team during month-end close process, to ensure variance explanations are expeditiously processed and key goals are met.10.Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.CPA preferred4-5 years of related experience.High energy, self starter with the ability to take initiative with minimal guidance.Demonstration of ownership and ability to multi-task in order to balance responsibilities with assigned projects, while ensuring that all deadlines are met.Comfortable working both as an individual and on a team.Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a high-volume and changing environment.Excellent analytical skills.Experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and accounting software systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
