Today Carrier Corporation leads the world in the manufacture and sale of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems and products.Analyze factory data across Carrier's global manufacturing facilities. Understand major performance drivers while working closely with factories, business unit FP&A, and the WHQ Operations management team. Develop annual plans and monthly forecasts. Lead production, data validation, and distribution of Carrier's Operations Monthly Assessment book. Support ad hoc analysis, OMM presentation preparation, and other monthly meetings.Administer Carrier's capital request authorization (CAR) process. Compile CAR's that require WHQ approval, review CAR's for accuracy, maintain data base, prepare executive summary and presentation material.This assignment provides an opportunity to gain a solid understanding of factory metrics and Carrier's cost structure, including labor & burden productivity, efficiency, inventory turnover, labor & fringe, cost standard hours, factory burden, and capital investment analysis.
