Job Description

The Financial Operations Associate will be part of a team responsible for producing, maintaining and presenting daily, monthly, and annual financial reports used by the Managing Directors in various decision making processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate accounting or finance degree. Limited knowledge of securities industry is preferred.

Equally proficient in both financial and technical skills

Ability to manage online databases that are used firm-wide

Strong knowledge of Access and Excel. Proficiency in SQL and VB is preferred

Capable of creating, maintaining and presenting financial and operational reports (both Web and Access based)

Must possess excellent communication (both oral and written) and time management skills.

Diligent and meticulous with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Ability to problem solve while working with multiple groups of staff and management.

Exercise discretion when reviewing and discussing confidential and sensitive information.

Must possess a sense of urgency and natural attention to detail.
