Financial Manager I- MSO - Detroit, Michigan

General Summary



Provides strategic analysis and advice to various levels of Senior Management. Tracks business results and cash flows. Responsible for compliance activities surrounding the Company's revenue recognition policy.



Essential Functions



- hires, trains and supervises financial staff

-responsible for providing monthly financial forecasting and reporting to Senior Management

-presents financial and operational recommendations to Senior Management resulting from analysis and forecasts

-conducts ad-hoc analyses for Senior Management

-presents information and analysis for broad audiences using a variety of formats including charts, graphs and economic models

-supports internal clients with analysis and budget support

-oversees budget, forecast and standard reporting processes

-provides oversight of facilities and administration functions as necessary

-review monthly/quarterly revenue trend analyses. Present conslusions to senior management

-assists field with queries and templates

-partners with ETG in development and support of financial systems

-responsible for compliance with the Company's internal controls and revenue recognition policies
REQUIREMENTS




Scope



General understanding of the business. Applies seasoned knowledge. Manages activities with common purpose, coordinates with other areas. Work is integraged with other functions impacting a major area of the organization. Independence to accomplish goals within approved operating plans. Problems are vague requiring broad grasp of complex primciples. Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Advanced credentials such as an MBA and /or CPA preferred. Has at least eight years of financial analysis experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.



Miscellaneous



Possesses strong analytical skills, and is capable of handling multiple projects. Is an expert user of the Internet and of company-sanctioned e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet software. Has extensive knowledge of office databases and company-sanctioned presentation software. Holds a bachelor's

degree or equivalent.
