Financial Inventory Analyst

Henry Schein, Inc. is the largest distributor of healthcare products to office-based practitioners in the combined North American and European markets. Customers include dental practices and laboratories, physician practices, and veterinary clinics, as well as government and other institutions.

In this role, you will:

> reviews existing systems, policies and procedures affecting inventory; assists in the documentation and development of new systems; develop policies and procedures necessary to strengthen controls, increase efficiencies, and enhance consistency.

>assists in the month-end inventory reconciliation and inventory related gross profit adjustments process by preparing monthly inventory reports and analysis detailing activity in key measurement areas including credits issued to customers, NSP product donations and destruction, purchase discounts, unallocated freight, RTV restocking charges, other gains/expenses,inventory adjustments,open NSP reserves and account analysis.

>set up tools to monitor inventory accuracy in the perpetual and financial inventory systems, and determines if processes are working correctly and error rates are within acceptable ranges.
REQUIREMENTS
As a qualified applicant you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field plus two to four years inventory accounting analysis, financial analysis, accounting, or systems analysis experience in a multi-warehouse distribution environment, reviewing financial systems, writing policies and procedures or the equivalent required.

Strong analytical skills, financial auditing skills. MS Office Suite and AS400 report mining tools (Monarch).
