Administrative Secretary
Reports To: Executive Assistant
OBJECTIVE:
The Administrative Secretary is responsible for providing secretarial support to the Executive offices, to answering telephones and taking messages, faxes, typing memorandums, letters, and including special projects, office workflow, appointments and correspondence. Primarily performing standard and some advanced secretarial general experience, skill and knowledge of organizational procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet public in person and on the telephone, provide general information, answer questions and directs individuals to appropriate party as necessary.
Performs general secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, copying and filing correspondence, memos, letters, code violation letters etc…
Creates new files, enters, and updates address and information into computer.
Coordinates special projects and events, office activities and committee meetings.
Maintains calendars, schedules appointments and meeting rooms.
Locates and compiles information and formats labels, records and other sources of information
Opens, sorts and screens mail.
Operates office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine and calculator coordinates the servicing of equipment.
Orders and maintains request for office supplies and equipment as directed.
Maintain work area and equipment
Complete special projects or tasks delegated by supervisor during downtime.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired as necessary.EXPERIENCE:
Two years administrative/office experience required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
