Responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.Broad base of financial planning & analysis experience including segment, product, customer, vendor & item profitability analysis, financial planning and analysis skills, pricing, reporting, controllership and accounting.Minimum Requirements

8+ years accounting experience, demonstrated success in facilitating change, extensive, broad financial experience, Six Sigma a plus.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Provide monthly reporting on actual and forecast data on National Brand products, complete detail reporting in the following areas: volume incentives, admission fees, supply chain management, distribution channel fees, ASV, cash discounts and other key incentive types. Preparation of Supplier profitability report, monthly. Lead monthly forecast meeting with Supplier Management teams, identifying key variances and forecast trends. Preparation of month-end slides for Management reporting. Lead and develop product/supplier analytics to identify opportunities for increased rebate $. Lead annual forecast compilation and analytic preparation. Prepare analysis on the impact of new product introductions, product substitution and other item/supplier actions on the business margins. Serve as critical business partner in timely execution of business plan, and lead or assist in special projects as needed.Education

MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience, BS, Accounting, Finance or MBAMcKesson Statement
