Financial Analyst - Procurement & Facilities

This key financial analyst position will provide financial planning, analysis and support to the Strategic Procurement and Facilities areas within our shared services department for the $600m+ of non-merchandise spending.
The selected individual wil help ensure financial control and accounting compliance for all purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory management activity by:
Supporting the procurement and facilities organization with both routine monthly and project specific financial analysis.
Budgeting annual operational expenses and conducting monthly budget vs. actual analyses
Handling monthly close responsibilities for the procurement and facilities groups (reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, etc.)
Analyzing spend data to identify strategic sourcing and cost saving opportunities
Assisting in the development of automated store-level expense reporting and establishing financial/management reporting for store level expenses (utilities, telecom, consumables, R&M) utilizing existing software and data extraction tools. This includes key performance indicators and other metrics.

Job Requirements:
5+ years experience of finance/accounting experience
BA Accounting or Business Admin
Big 4 and/or experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred: Lawson Financial Systems experience
Retail or multi site industry experience preferred.
