Financial Analyst, Mid

Key Role:Conduct financial analyses across operating budgets, reconciliation of budget accounts within organizational alignments, and provide cost analysis metrics regarding financial performance across identified organizational components and programs. Prepare monthly financial briefs and ad hoc reports for senior management personnel. Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects, including auditing, forecasting, and budgetary and other analysis. Research financial and economic trends and develop short-term forecasts. Ensure management’s understanding of rate and budgeted issues. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-3+ years of experience with accounting, finance, or economics


-Experience with cost estimating techniques and budget formulation processes


-Experience with Microsoft Excel required


-BA or BS degree


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Experience with statistical software preferred


-Experience with government accounting and federal budget procedures preferred


-Experience with federal procurement process preferred


-BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred
