The Financial Analyst Manager is for the Client Account Administrator organization. the CAA organization is new to PwC, in that, the CAA's are non-exempt staff
that will fully facilitate the use of the Firm's new Global Financial System
(GFS) and expected to support the client service teams in the financial
administrative and analysis aspects of engagements. CAA's are also expected to
provide administrative support to the engagement teams, i.e. meeting
arrangements, travel, time and expense reporting, etc.This position will be responsible for the oversight of CAA Supervisor(s) and
non-exempt CAA's in the Northeast region. Additional responsibilities include,
but are not limited to:Broad Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen long-term customer/client relationships while driving a
customer service mentality throughout the regional organization.
Demonstrate strong negotiation or mediation skills with both internal and
external groups by settling differences without damaging relationships.
Inspire others to strive for organizational vision by demonstrating passion,
enthusiasm and personal dedication.
Create a team culture that encourages feedback on a timely basis.
Ensure on-going value-add solutions are optimized
Create an environment that allows for staff development that provides
opportunities for greater responsibilities, both within the West Finance
organization and across the Firm.Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and participating in the day-to-day operations of a
functional department/area to ensure the timely and accurate processing,
analysis, or reporting of financial data.
Hire and train CAA staff in engagement management transactions, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, reporting, project management, GEMS, risk
management, client databases.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Firm's financial systems and other
applicable systems and software.
Develop and implement controls and procedures to ensure that processing,
analysis or reporting is done timely and accurately.
Ability to provide thorough and accurate analysis through an in-depth
knowledge/understanding of the financial operations, interaction of multiple
Finance functional groups and interaction with all Client Service groups
(consultant).
Establishes metrics and monitors departmental efficiency
Communicates with Finance leaders to answer questions, resolve issues and
share knowledge
Identifying training needs and opportunities for the CAA staff
May develop, coordinate and deliver engagement management, project
management, various risk/independence/database training programs
Participates as a project team member within and outside of their department
Ensures that CAA Supervisor(s) and CAA's are kept up-to-date with changes to
policies and procedures
Effectively manage relationships across multiple functional areas.
Communicate with other departments and functional areas for training or
knowledge sharing, both as needed and on-going
Assume responsibility for special projects incorporating resources from
functions with the Southwest region or other functional areas
Coach and mentor members of the team in a wide variety of areas including but
not limited to: teaming, interpersonal skills, relationship building and
business knowledge. (i.e. setting performance objectives and goals, prepares
performance evaluations, hiring and staff counseling process)
Must be willing to support and advance a changing work environment
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
5 + years related Finance and client management experience
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
Bachelors degree preferred, equivalent experience may substituteEssential Requirements:
A solid understanding of engagement management Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to build strong relationships and effective teams Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to make effective presentations to groups of staff Comfortable working with all levels of staff Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities Ability to be handle challenging situations and tight deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of business products and various other internal Finance systems (training available for PwC-specific systems) Ability to gain credibility with all staff and leadership
