Financial Analyst III (Naperville)

The Financial Analyst, III is a senior level position with responsibilities for providing leadership and support with reviews, analyses and projections for the organization. These duties will be performed in various financial departments as well as specialty areas such as Vendor Management.
Responsibilities Include:
May perform any or all of the following duties specific to supporting assigned function: Extracts data from SAP, general ledger and functional databases (Marketing, Sales, etc.) for analysis. Analyzes data for various internal customers related to vendor income, payables/receivables, vendor discounts, rebates, freight charges, cash, etc. Establishes trends and projections related to the above. Prepares written summaries of post audit findings and presents/reviews with Senior Management. Prepares daily, monthly, quarterly and annual summaries for input to various business partners. Examines and analyzes reports for accuracy and ensures all data is complete. Provides assistance and direction to less experienced associates. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferredPrevious accounting experience typically achieved with a minimum of five years in public accounting or in a corporate environment with specific duties related to Financial AnalysisDemonstrated ability to apply GAAP to OfficeMax practicesPrevious experience with SAP and ability to extract dataExtensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word.Developed organizational skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
