Global Field Operations Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
Support the Global Field Operations controller in accounting for product cost of sales, proactively searching for ways to improve efficiencies and provide additional finance support to the Global Field Operations organization.

General Responsibilities:
- Assist Global Field Operations in defining, tracking and reporting business metrics.
- Partner with internal groups to assist in financial evaluation of royalty contracts.
- Work with internal groups to obtain necessary data to record/pay royalties due.
- Calculate and prepare royalty payments to based on contractual obligations.
- Timely and accurate creation of month end accounting entries, reconciliations, reports and review schedules.
- Review and improve existing business and financial processes and related controls.
- Responsible for Product Cost of Sales - forecasting, reporting, and allocations. Working with the business owners to manage Product Cost of Sales including royalties, materials, freight, supplier and operations costs.
- Drive FY07 budget process within Product Cost of Sales areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills that allow you to effectively work within a matrix organization
- Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Financial analysis background

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion (Essbase, Enterprise), Microsoft Office, Open Office, and SQL Reporting
- Experience in Royalty reporting
- Familiarity with Software Revenue Recognition (SOP 97-2)

Qualifications:
- Four+ years finance or related experience.
- Finance or Accounting degree
