Financial Analyst I (Accounting & Reporting)
FINANCIAL ANALYST I (Accounting & Reporting)Philip Morris USA Inc., a global leader in the manufacturing and marketing of consumer products made for adults, seeks qualified accounting professionals to join its Finance organization in Richmond, Virginia. The successful entry level candidates will apply their knowledge of the Finance Function to the following responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position will include:
Providing accounting and reporting services to senior level management (including monthly, quarterly and adhoc reporting)
Performing basic functional business case analysis and identify potential solutions
Interacting with internal and external parties regarding financial matters, including, but not limited to, financial analysis, internal controls, compliance, and accounting issues
Participating in cross functional projects
Identifying business changes or improvement solutions and execute related accounting process changes as necessary
Preparing & delivering presentations and various analyses for Departmental Management in a timely and professional manner
No immediate Supervisory/Managerial responsibilityQualifications
Qualifications include:
Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is preferred
Minimum 1 year of entry level business experience (with focus on accounting, financial and/or managerial reporting)
Experience working with complex financial systems
General understanding of relationships between processes, systems and accounting flow
Strong analytical, organizational & communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
