Financial Analyst I

This individual will be responsible for the expense management and financial reporting function for several Phoenix Credit Operations cost centers. Included are the following tasks for month end, budgeting and forecasting: Prepare Journal entries. Review expenses line results and provide variance explanations. Analyze supporting documents (i.e. headcount volume). Provide financial and productivity performance reporting to senior credit leadership. Generate cost center financial budgets and forecasts. Prepare adhoc financial projects.Job RequirementsMinimum 3 years forecasting and budgeting experience to include operating expenses and headcount. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills. Manage multiple priorites. Excellent PC skills - Word, Excel and Access. Ability to influence up and across management levels. Developing and delivering insightful and actionable analysis to senior business leaders. Work in an ambiguous environment.Preferred: Experience with accounting general ledger databases. B.S. degree in Finance/Accounting strongly preferred.
