Financial Analyst - FP&A Operations

Business Unit: GE CorporateFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: * Manage $100+MM expense base
Plan and prepare yearly budget for all functional areas
Provide overall financial analysis support to CIO and IT Managers
Work closely with CIO and IT Managers in prioritization of business initiatives
Drive monthly/quarterly closing, including journal entries and accruals
Prepare monthly variance expense analysis and review actual results with senior management to drive cost containment
Participate in business planning cycle, S1, S2, OP Plan - including strategic planning and budgeting
Special and Ad-Hoc projects: digitization, productivity, controllership
Participate in Oracle Implementation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree or high school diploma plus four years of work experience
2+ years of financial services or accounting experience
Strong critical thinking and analytic skills
Strong PC skills, especially Excel
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills
Change focus and initiativeDesired: * GE Financial Management Program (FMP) graudate
Six Sigma green-belt certified
