Financial Analyst - Commercial Real Estate

Growing suburban commercial real estate investment corporation is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Financial Analyst to join Budgeting and Planning Group, reporting to the AVP of Budgeting and Planning. Strong candidate needed to assist in the creation and maintenance of the company’s earnings model and to assist in evaluating potential acquisitions from a financial perspective. The qualified candidate should be very adept at financial modeling (typically in Excel, have the ability to build and maintain financial models for various transactions, and should have the capacity to understand complex deal structures and incorporate those structures into financial models, as appropriate. Additionally, the candidate should be able to “build up” from the portfolio level and, based on assumptions with respect to financing and corporate-level transactions (equity offerings, debt placements, etc.), assist the company in projecting its overall financial performance from quarter to quarter and year to year. REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will possess a B.A. or B.S., preferably in Business or a related discipline. Prior experience working for a REIT or commercial real estate company is preferred.
