Financial Analyst - Business Development

Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced Financial Analyst to support its Corporate Business Development (CBD) department at its Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) in Bethesda, MD. The Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial activities such as finance, tax accounting, general accounting, financial analyses, and/or budgeting. This individual will provide overarching functional department budget and financial support for Corporate Business Development, including forecasts, actuals, headcount and departmental level financial analyses. Will provide the CBD interface for CHQ elements (LM Properties, Finance, Accounting, etc.) as well as the three international financial offices in Hong Kong, Geneva and the UK in support of the 21 international CBD offices. The Financial Analyst Serves as the single point of contact for the 25 domestic CBD offices on all matters related to budget preparation, actuals, forecasts, check register use and procedures, check requests processing, year-end accruals, IWTA coordination, etc. This person is also responsible for quarterly budget reviews to the CBD senior management staff. Will also coordinate office leases and all capital expenditures including office furniture and equipment. Will prepare internal letters of guidance/instruction and procedures to assist CBD personnel to implement applicable corporate policies. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
