Business Analyst/Medical Biller/Account Representative/ Established radiology practice is in need of an Billing Professionals to start right away at their centralized business office in Long Island! - Business/Financial Analyst - Medical Insurance Biller - AR Follow-up Representative - Supervisor The Account Representative will be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries to patients and payers to resolve billing and insurance coverage issues for services rendered. If you enjoy helping others and solving problems this is the position for you! General Responsibilities include: Processing and distribution of incoming mail inquiries to appropriate areas of Business Services Update computer billing records required processing claims and changes with the patient's demographics and appropriating financial status within established time frames Document and follow-up on actions on patient account notes and open claims Review and research A/R and other periodic reports to ensure timely billing and account follow-up Respond to patient and payer correspondence in a timely manner Maintain currency with HCFA regulatory guidelines, insurance billing requirements, state and federal laws and regulations Generate financial reports Ideal candidates will have one to two years of medical group billing/registration experience Knowledge of medical terminology is required. This position requires a candidate with prior computer billing and accounts receivable experience. ND100776
