The Financial Analyst will coordinate and oversee the valuation function of Bayview Financial’s mortgage acquisition business. Responsibilities include analyzing, modeling, and valuing mortgage loans.
Review and oversee the work of a pricing analyst.Provide valuation analysis on multiple loan pools.Maintain and upgrade Bayview’s proprietary pricing models.Help streamline the pricing process.Help the Acquisition team with ongoing projects.
REQUIREMENTSCollege graduate with a degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics. MBA or advanced degree a plus.Knowledge of mortgage/fixed-income instruments a plus.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications desired.Working knowledge of Word, Power Point, and Access. Familiarity with Bloomberg desired.Must be mathematically strong.Must be detail oriented.Prior supervision experience desired.
