Financial Analyst 2 (Snoqualmie, WA)
Job Description
Conducts weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and add hoc financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, analysis and reporting. Supports annual budget development, weekly & monthly expense analysis, and proactive cost management for functional departments. Applies accounting, financial and operational knowledge to address a variety of complex business problems and opportunities in both an individual and team environment. Understands functional area’s operational objectives, business processes and financial needs in order to provide meaningful financial modeling and analysis on business, technology and operational opportunities. Develops solutions and recommendations to address critical business issues. Evaluates financial alternatives and recommends appropriate action. Supports decision making and operational processes through the timely assessment and analysis of business results. Evaluates effectiveness of new programs by comparing results with original proposals. Generates required month-end accounting entries and adjustments for financial close. Participates in monthly financial results review with Finance and functional management. Ensures all current financial processes within assigned area are properly documented and in compliance with ICS (Internal Controls).

Excellent communication and business partnering skills including the ability to present viewpoints and interact with all levels of management. Minimum of five years progressive directly related financial analysis experience including financial reporting, analysis, and planning. Well-developed process management skills and understanding of Six-Sigma methodology. Preferred work experience to include a high volume manufacturing environment within a global consumer goods, medical device, and/or life sciences industry. Proven track record of problem analysis and resolution at a strategic and functional level. Well-developed analytical skills including business economics, accounting and financial modeling, including return on investment calculations. General ledger knowledge, Excel spreadsheet proficiency, PowerPoint proficiency, experience with SAP and working knowledge of US GAAP. Experience MS Access a plus. Able to handle strict deadlines, prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred.
