Financial Analysis & Compliance Manager

NATURE OF WORK
This is managerial, administrative, analytical, and compliance work associated with the financing, budgeting, and operation of a combined electric, natural gas, water, wastewater and telecommunication utility system.

Preference in initial employment will be given to eligible veterans and spouses of veterans according to Chapter 55A-7 Florida Administrative Code. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in Finance, Accounting, or related field; and five (5) years progressively responsible experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Specific experience in: Procurement, accounting, business, personnel, and contracting principles and procedures; Internal control theory, principles and practices; Cost accounting principles; Team leading/facilitating; SAS, FASB and GASB Statements and Pronouncements; Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rules and regulations (FERC); Cash management and investing,. Tax exempt debt financing, Governmental and utility budgeting practices. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is preferred.
