The US Finance Systems SME Senior Manager is responsible for providing content for and supporting the deployment of learning and training and education for projects administered by IFS Learning & Education (L&E) on behalf of the US Finance Services organization. This person will be responsible for coordinating with Finance L&E and US IT UNITY to ensure all GFS-related and other Finance systems end user content contained in new and/or existing learning is current.Broad Responsibilities
Partner with Finance L&E to manage/align new training requests and provide input towards strategic vision of end user education (e.g. identify gaps, assess needs)
Demonstrate deep knowledge of both Finance systems and application of these systems to our business within the context of end user training and education
Mine GFS and other Finance systems content for inclusion in new and/or current training and education materials
Assist IFS L&E managing/aligning new training requests and acting as, and/or providing SME resources in end user education
Manage work of US Finance Systems SME Manager
Develop and maintain relationships with key UNITY team members and other USFS SMEs from which content will be mined
Work with Finance L&E Instructional Designer(s) to develop and/or update of GFS and/or other Finance systems training/education materials, modules, exercise/demonstrations, and learner guides as necessary
Collaborate with LOS Finance Subject Matter Experts as appropriate
Facilitate/instruct instructor-led and/or virtual courses as needed
Ensure deliverables meet quality assurance standards and encompass functional business objectives and requirements
Coordinate with Change Management team to ensure communications and documentation components of UNITY projects are consistent with L&E methodology and deliverySpecific Responsibilities
Coach end users on new and existing training tools and resources, share success stories and provide input as to how they may provide value to their local teams as well as provide guidance to help them achieve their goals and objectives
Manage training development/validation/delivery requests from IFS L&E to ensure appropriate staffing/prioritization
Participate in and support staff participating in continuous learning opportunities to develop own deep knowledge of both GFS and SAP R/3, as well as other Finance systems (e.g. Engagement Profitability Tool, future Budgeting Tool, etc)
Help develop SMEs outside of USFS (e.g. CAA Power Users, GFS Solution Center)
Generate ideas for managing training content amongst Change Management groups (e.g. BPI, Documentation Specialists, Communications) and execute against confirmed approach
Participate in and/or conduct data gathering meetings w/other SMEs to confirm course contents, gather details, & validate draft content
Develop components of instructor and/or participant materials per requests from L&E Instructional Designer(s) and/or Project Manager(s)
Partner with Finance L&E to co-develop competency testing for courses as applicable
Review and validate content of training materials
Identify and prepare USFS instructors to deliver courses
Instruct live and/or recorded training as necessary
Participate in special projects on behalf of Change Management (e.g. Finance Learning Advisory Group, CTE)Works closely with IFS Learning & Education Team, USFS SMEs, US IT UNITY, CAA Leadership Team, USFS Leadership, LOS Finance SMEs, BPI managers, KSO, and CTE project teams
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Business, Education, or Management
Information Systems (MIS) preferredEssential Requirements:
Accounting and/or General Finance background Proficient Project Management skills Deep understanding of PwC's engagement management model Deep knowledge of PwC's GFS system and other Finance systems (e.g. Engagement Profitability Tool, future Budgeting Tool, etc) Experience with learning and education methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills Strong attention to details At ease with ambiguity Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Ability to facilitate discussions with both technical and non-technical groups Ability to develop and deliver project presentations/reports
