Finance & Operations Manager for Professional Services

As a result, the Blackbaud Professional Services Group has a great opportunity for an energetic, hard-working, results-oriented individual to contribute to our team as the Finance & Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of the Finance & Operations Manager is to handle day-to-day accounting/financial functions and increase the efficiency of the Professional Services Division by improving the data integrity of our time and expense system.
Responsibilities include:
Provide direct support to the Director, Finance & Operations, including but not limited to management of monthly allocations, accruals, revenue recognition, compiling monthly financial flash data and expense reclassifications
Manage a team of operations coordinators and financial analysts that support the Professional Services Division
Manage the monthly batch invoice process, including scheduling the batch run, troubleshooting issues, approving invoices and updating monthly exchange rates in the time and billing system (Changepoint)
Ensure data integrity within the Changepoint system through regular audits
Work with the Finance Department to resolve a range of customer issues regarding billing as it relates to Professional Services
Gather and analyze key data for management team
Monitor costs to ensure spending does not exceed plan, including review of expense reports and reconciliation of billable travel
Maintain the service operations procedures guide
Monitor controls and audit procedures that meet Sarbanes Oxley guidelines
Manage performance bonus plans including the creation of new plans and quarterly calculations of current plans
REQUIREMENTS
Blackbaud will consider candidates with the following experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Experience in data analysis or audits
4 5 years of proven success in a fast paced, challenging environment
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong supervisory skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Willing to propose ideas and solutions to upper management
