REQUIREMENTS
As a Finance Manager, you will be based in downtown San Francisco, near the Montgomery BART station. You will be focused on the revenue side, developing forecasts and budgets, reviewing monthly financials, projecting cash flow, responding to client requests and reporting, and supervising account billing and receivables for our region's group of clients. Proficiency with Excel, combined with the ability to quickly learn and maximize technology such as Business Objects and Lawson, will enable you to interpret, evaluate, and present financial data efficiently. Relationship building skills are more important here than in other environments because you will work closely with other internal teams such as marketing and project management, as well as external customers like A/P and procurement at client companies. You will report up to a director on the East Coast, so the ability to work autonomously, leverage resources, and raise a flag when you need help is also critical. Experience in a similar industry will prepare you for the intricacies of financials unique to professional services. If you can translate finance concepts to non-finance people and you're seeking the opportunity to interact more with others in a collaborative environment, this could be an ideal next step for you.To apply for this position or refer someone you know, please use our online interview system managed by Accolo.Once you have completed the interview, your information will be forwarded to the hiring authority for decisions on next steps.Related Keywords: finance manager, financial analyst, professional services, marketing, advertising, operations, revenue, reporting, clients, Excel, Lawson, Business Objects, budget, forecast, FP&A, cash flow, P&L, process improvement
