Finance Manager - Real Estate

Business Unit: GE CorporateFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: * Provide finance leadership (FP&A, Accounting, Controllership) for $6B Real Estate Portfolio
Lead real estate FP&A team of 5 and 2 GENPACT FP&A consultants
Manage all fund administration functions on 4 real estate equity funds, with 20+ external clients
Assist in developing marketing materials on new RE products, including developing financial pro-formas, provide analytical support on PPMs, RFPs and consultant requests
Provide oversight to financial and accounting personnel at 60+ properties
Oversee property annual financial audits and interim financial reporting
Ensure controls are in place at the properties for cash, disbursement and accounting and perform audits as necessary
Oversee preparation of monthly/quarterly investor reports and annual audited financials
Manage internal management reporting, including portfolio analysis, performance, revenue and performance forecasting, transaction activity and volume
Perform annual valuation analysis for all properties and real estate related assets
Coordinate external appraisals of real estate properties
Provide finance input to Investment Committee Reviews
Provide analytical support to investment managers & to business leaders
Assist with new deal underwriting and review investment presentations for all new investments
Monitor overhead expenses for real estate department and ensure proper allocation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree or equivalent high school diploma and 4 years work experience
5+ years work experience preferably in finance
Ability to manage a team and communicate to multiple levels
Excellent oral and written communication skillsDesired: * MBA or CFA
FMP graduate
Real estate experience
